Peyton Home provides you, the original Purchaser, with the limited warranties on your Peyton Home product described herein. These warranties apply to products purchased directly from Peyton Home, and apply only under conditions of normal, indoor, residential use, unless the item is specifically designated as suitable for outdoor use, subject to certain limitations and exclusions.

Limited Manufacturer Warranty Peyton Home guarantees all furniture against manufacture defects in construction and parts for a period of one (1) year. When a structural defect or parts defect is brought to our attention, we will repair or replace it at our option, at no charge to the customer for parts and labor. Peyton Home reserves the right to decide the appropriate remedy. If we decide to replace the defective part or product, only the defective part or product will be replaced. If we decide to replace a product we no longer sell, we will replace it with a comparably priced product. If your product is repaired or replaced, the limited warranty will not be renewed or extended. Peyton Home’s  option to repair or replace is hereby expressly agreed to be Purchaser’s  sole remedy.

Delivery fees are not covered in this warranty and are the responsibility of the Purchaser.

Peyton Home will not make any  pick ups of goods. To expedite a  claim, Purchaser should send pictures of the good(s), a written description of the claimed damage and the  cause of the damage, along with copy of the original invoice.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Because of the craftsmanship and/or the use of natural materials in Peyton Home products, minor variations will occur from piece to piece. These warranties do not cover such minor variations or differences between floor samples, swatches, or printed illustrations and your item(s). Peyton Home warranties do not cover products purchased from a source other than Peyton Home or used in a commercial or non-residential setting. Any product modification by retailer or consumer, or use of non-Peyton Home parts, voids this warranty.

THE REMEDIES PROVIDED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND, TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER REMEDIES, WARRANTIES, OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL PEYTON HOME BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES.

PURCHASER’S  RIGHTS

This warranty gives the Purchaser specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusions and limitations on incidental and consequential damages or the limitations on implied warranties, so the described limitations may not apply to you. However, proper care and use are essential for preserving your rights under this warranty.

The Peyton Home Warranty Does Not Cover

1.   Defects incurred from spills, abuse, misuse, negligence, or accidents. Damage from any type of chemicals or dyes (including, but not limited to food, dyes, bleach and ammonia).

2.   Failure of finish resulting from heat marks, liquid damage, household humidity, incorrect application or chemical treatment or protective coating.

3.   Damage caused by fire, smoke, theft, explosion, flood or natural disaster.

4.   Indoor Furniture that has been subjected to outdoor weather conditions or placed by a window or door that by which has  deliberately or inadvertently allowed furniture to be subjected to rain or to serious and sudden temperature fluctuations are not covered by this warranty.5.   Fading or change caused by sunlight, wind or weather.

6.   Natural variations in graining of wood.

7.   Wearability, fabric fading, wrinkling, stretching, dye lot variations, color fastness, tears, rips, punctures, burns, flattening and crushing of naps, pilling, button popping, shrinking, heavy soiling or abuse.

8.   Incidental or consequential damages, and normal wear and tear.

9.   Absorption of body oils, perspiration or bodily fluids, blood, stains or damage from any type of animal.

10.   The use of this product for rental, commercial, business or institutions.

11.   Any product that was sold AS-IS.

12.   The service call, packing, handling and transportation of a defective product to and from an authorized Peyton Home retailer.
